Minimum Property Requirements for FHA and 203(k) Loans

Renovation loans such as the 203(k) program are used to make improvements to an existing property. They can be used to make simple up-grades to a home, such as a kitchen or bath improvement, or for substantial rehabilitation projects.

This course will enable agents and brokers to be able to put this type of program to work for both themselves and their clients. This course will make them more knowledgeable about how the program works, and how they can use the 203(k) loan to salvage home transactions when the client really wants to purchase the home, but repairs are required to complete the deal, and neither the seller nor the buyer have the funds to proceed. Or the client really wants to purchase the home, but is dissatisfied with some aspect of the home, and can use this program to make renovations.

The instructor for the course, David Cassavaugh, is one of only a few 203(k) consultants available in New Hampshire. David’s background uniquely prepared him for this type of work. He has 35+ years of building construction and renovation experience. He is also an accomplished home inspector and founder of Advanced Home Inspection, located in Manchester, NH.
